When you sponsor The Market Shop Event, you are the only brand from your industry at that event. We do not accept two sponsors from the same category — no competing brands, no split attention, no diluted impact.

If you're a wellness brand, you're the wellness brand at that event. If you're a beverage, you own that space. That's not a courtesy — it's part of the contract.

FAQ

Questions about sponsoring

Can my competitor sponsor the same event?+
No. We offer category exclusivity to every sponsor regardless of tier. If you're a wellness brand, no other wellness brand will be at that event. If you're a food and beverage brand, you own that category. This is protected in the contract — the first brand to confirm and pay secures the category. This applies to Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
What does the brand stand setup look like — space, electricity, materials?+

Sponsors are responsible for setting up their own activation. Here's what you need to know:

Space: We recommend a 10×10 footprint, which is standard for the event. If your activation requires more space — a larger display, a branded experience, or a full brand installation — we can accommodate it. Sponsors have flexibility that vendors don't. Just let us know in advance.

Electricity: The event is fully outdoors, so there is no venue electricity available. If your activation requires power, you're welcome to bring your own generator. We'll confirm placement logistics in your pre-event briefing.

Materials: You can bring banners, displays, product samples, branded furniture, interactive setups — whatever fits your brand experience. Our attendees love immersive brand activations, and there are no aesthetic restrictions for sponsors beyond keeping the setup professional and aligned with your brand identity.

If you're planning something beyond a standard booth — a sampling station, a photo moment, a wellness activation — tell us when you reach out. We'll make sure the placement works for the experience you have in mind.

Do I need to pay before the event?+
Yes. All sponsorships must be paid in full before the event date. This is what allows us to produce your materials, secure your placement, and guarantee every deliverable. No payment means no confirmed spot.
Do I need to be physically present at the event?+
For Bronze, no — your logo and mentions are handled by our team. For Silver and Gold, having someone from your brand present to interact with attendees maximizes the value of your stand and activation. It's not required, but it makes a real difference.
What types of brands make good sponsors?+
Our audience is adults 22–45 — young professionals, couples, and families who are lifestyle-focused and wellness-oriented. Brands that perform best include beauty and skincare, wellness studios, healthy food and beverage, fashion, home and decor, kids and family products, and local service businesses looking to build visibility in Chicago or Arizona.
Can I sponsor multiple events?+
Yes, and we encourage it. Sponsors who commit to multiple events in the Chicago season (May–September) or across both Chicago and Arizona (October–December) get priority placement and consistent brand presence across a growing community. Reach out and we'll put together a multi-event arrangement.
How will I know my deliverables were completed?+
Within 5 business days after the event, you receive a post-event recap. For Gold and Silver sponsors it includes screenshots of all content, direct links, reach and impressions data, and photos of your brand activation at the event. Bronze sponsors receive a summary with all Instagram placements documented.
What happens if the event is canceled?+
If the event is canceled by the organizers and no alternative date is provided, your sponsorship payment is refunded in full. If the event is rescheduled, your sponsorship rolls over to the new date automatically.
Is there a contract?+
Yes. Every sponsorship includes a one-page contract with specific deliverables, timeline, and payment terms. You know exactly what you're getting and when. We send it within 24 hours of your confirmation.
